Sick

Bleh I've been sick and getting no time to myself ever. Not sleeping well because Elizabeth won't sleep through the night and Lily gets up at 7:30 every morning.

The ultrasound went great. Jellybaby is measuring on track! Yay! I'll post a picture for you too. Also the heart rate was at 171bpm.

I'm such a fail

So I've been so sick with morning sickness and raising a toddler and a preschool age daughter who is 4 going on 17. Life got away and Tiny Chicken Disease struck the house {aka the common cold. Thanks vlogbrothers for the new fun name for something not fun.

So I'm going to be 9 weeks tomorrow and I just had an appointment {FINALLY} for my first prenatal  visit. However, our dr is a little concerned so he moved the ultrasound appointment from two Mondays from not to tonight. I'm insanely nervous and a little scared and trying to keep myself busy today. I'm so thankful my husband can work from home if needed. I promise how're, I will update on what happened tonight along with start the pregnancy update posts. I've been waiting  for the ultrasound to get the a better estimate of the due date.

Here We Go!

Alright! So I'm finally allowed to tell you guys! We told the family and everyone on facebook. So now it's your turn! I'm pregnant with Jelly Baby #3!

Lily's so excited about another baby again! Elizabeth, well, she doesn't really understand or care. As long as I hold her she's happy lol.

I'm 7 weeks along and we couldn't be happier.

While I was taking the picture for the announcement Lily kept posing fot the camera. She's my little model that's for sure. I wanted to do all but the announcement, from the pictures I took, to be black and white. Mainly for two reasons:

1. Because I was taught to edit and work with black and white photos first.
2. Because I thought that the announcement would stand out more.

I had to keep this one she's just so cute out of all the posing she was doing this was one of the cutest things. I loved that I got something she didn't pose for.

Elizabeth was so excited to be outside and playing with leaves that I just had to follow her around and shot the pictures.

This was my favorite picture  of her.

Right As Rain

There are many things happening in our life and I want to touch point on every single on of them but I have no idea where to start.

We've gone through everything I've said before along with a few other things I can't talk about still. I really can't talk about it yet emotionally. I'm not ready yet.

I've also switched the girls' rooms and I'm still working in them so I'll be showing the before, during, and after pictures as I go but it's a slow process for me anymore. I'll explain that at a later date as well sorry. I'll do a separate post on the rooms too.

I've also redid the entry closet! I'm quite proud I did it lol. It's not the best but it works for now at least.

I'm sorry to cut this so short but it's time to go cook dinner.

Officially Back

Ok sorry it took so long to get back into blogging. We dealt with our friend's death but after we were doing better it life got away from us. With my dad still having a possibility of some of his brain bleeding again. Even after the surgery early this year. He's also now having to get surgery on both eyes next month. Along with my mom's Parkinson's getting worse along with her earky onset dementia and early onset Alzheimer's. Closely followed by both girls' birthdays and Halloween. A scary bit where we weren't sure if my husband was going to loose his job or not {he didn't by the way}. Life got insanely busy.

However, I'm back again I swear! I'm back with new ideas and great things to come. I'm going to post a MINIMUM of once a week {mostly Tuesday's} and I'm going be be here I promise.

Happy Halloween

Taking a short hiatus

This weekend we were supposed to go to Tennessee for a kayaking trip but we couldn't find a sitter for the girls so we stayed home.

However,  after a fun time there was a massive storm and our friends called it in early and decided to go home yesterday. As they were getting ready to leave and go home they collided with another boat four were injured but we also lost a dear friend. 

He fell overboard and never resurfaced.  We got the news they recovered him at about 2:30 in the morning. 

He was 39.

You never think about how short life is and how fast it can be taken away until it happens to someone you love.

So I need time to be with our friends and my family. 

I ask everyone who's reading this to please pray for our friends wife. She needs it now more than ever.
